Take a Break!

Keegan Macree with sand on his face
Thinks surely there is no better place.
Vacations are so fun,
All our worries are gone,
Yes we agree, paws down, in this case!

After a long walk on the beach, Keegan takes a break. Posted by Picasa

OBX

Keegan Macree amazed by the sea,
Small, brave, and mighty as he can be.
Lovely little red dog
Can get lost in the fog.
Hold on tightly to me!

Best Friend

July 20, 2006. At five months old, Keegan is full of energy and curiosity. He is enjoying his puppy classes and the agility obstacles. He is a casual observer, studies everything, and is a true engineer at heart. He is sweet, lovable, beguiling, smart and funny. He makes us laugh and he keeps us on our toes. In three short months, Keegan has become a wonderful friend and companion. We hope he feels the same way about us.

The Luck of the Irish

The "Look" of the Irish - Keegan Macree. Anyone who has ever owned an Irish knows that look. Keegan is an Irish name meaning "little fiery one." What are we thinking! Tall tales will be told of his Great Escape. It's the stuff legends are made of. More on that later (I got that from my sister Kanela, the humor columnist. It's called a tease.) Macree is an Irish term of endearment meaning "my heart." He has already captured ours. Posted by Picasa

Never Say Goodbye

Powell prepares to leave the nest. Dunloe Irish Terrier breeders Amy and Bernie and mom Derry, as well as Uncle Rufus and Auntie Bridie did a great job raising these little pups. He is ready to take on the world...with a lot of love and attention from his new people. Posted by Picasa

The Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

Life is a Game

Life is a Game is the Motto of the Irish Terrier

Life is a game. Play hard. This is the motto of the Irish Terrier. Everything in his new home is fun and exciting. His people are fascinating to watch. Keegan's new toy keeps him entertained and keeps his teeth off of our furniture. Why are puppy teeth so sharp? Posted by Picasa
